At Home Depot today. And a couple more tomato plants, one a Grape, the other something called a Pear tomato, should be fun to see what it's like.
Hope to get everything planted tomorrow.
How about you?

The pear tomatos are really great for sauce if you get enough of them. They are a very "meaty" variety, and all the Italians in my old home town always grew several to make their sauces with.
I also like them in a salad too, as they are more substantial than the regulary juicy tomatos, but I like them too.
The pears also fry up nice.
I have some tomatos to put out as soon as we get past this next forecasted cold spell.
One variety is called Container Choice, bred specifically for containters. Bigger fruit than the cherry tomato, but smaller than say a Rutgers.
Another is Early Goliath, which is my cheeseburger sized tomato, and they only take about 60 days.
The last of this first batch is called Fourth of July and it too is a very early variety, but with medium sized fruits.
I also started a few "burpless" Oriental Cucumbers. They do real nicely when "trained" to vine around a tomato cage. They do not seem to last very long, so I start some every month or so.
I worked in a green house and on the family farm as a kid so this growing stuff is in my blood !

Hi JRPy ! Good to hear from you ! Not much going on here, almost froze last night. Plus we are getting ready to sell and move so not much gardening in the plans for this year. Probably just a few potted plants to spruce it up a bit ! Let me check my photo archive at home though BB
